No matter which health science program you’re interested in, we know you’re passionate about your future. And we know you want options. EC offers you several majors and programs to take you directly into the field of your choice in just three or four years, like a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Nursing.
Want to go a step further? We’ve got you covered. At EC, you can choose an accelerated six-year BS to DO through our partnership with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at Elmira. Or choose a more traditional 3+ or 4+ track with LECOM or one of our other partner institutions like Binghamton University, University at Buffalo, and Northeast College of Health Sciences.

Our accelerated six-year program is perfect for the Biology major who has dreams of helping people as a doctor of osteopathic medicine. Through a partnership with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at Elmira, you can have your Bachelor of Science degree in Biology within three years and earn your DO in six years, all without having to take the MCAT or complete additional graduate school applications.
Elmira College can help you become a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Technologist with our Clinical Laboratory Science 3+1 program. Our Biology and Biochemistry courses will prepare you for a fourth year of hands-on training in one of our affiliated clinical laboratories in Sayre, Rochester, Jamestown, or Brooklyn.
